Warner Bros Consumer Products (WBCP)

I worked with WBCP, the licensing arm of Time Warner AOL for circa 3 years which culminated in the launch of Harry Potter in Europe. My job was to work with the UK business head to develop brand strategies for WBCPs extensive catalogue which includes Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, The Matrix, Wacky Races and then Harry Potter.
I was also tasked with working with each category head to help them achieve their sales targets. I worked with each to better understand their needs and to implement plans for strategic brand positioning.
I facilitated a number of training and “blue Sky” days for WBCP, which were highly regarded.
Finally I employed staff on behalf of WBCP, training and nurturing them to fit in with the business requirements and to fulfill a positive role within the department.

“Nic fulfilled many roles whilst working with WBCP. We had a vacuum within marketing when Nic arrived and working alongside each other, we filled the gap and as a result were more than able to deliver great brands and to our customers, profitably. Nic organised our marketing, PR, events and hugely popular brainstorming sessions. On a personal level Nic was a fantastic sounding board for me and I really appreciated his honesty and creativity. I know the team benefitted hugely from having Nic available to them. Thanks Nic”
